Five application fields of PTFE hose

  1. Used as anti-corrosion material

The PTFE tube material overcomes the shortcomings of ordinary plastics and metals that are not resistant to corrosion, and has become the main corrosion-resistant material in the petroleum, chemical, and textile industries. For example, it is used to manufacture delivery pipes, exhaust pipes, steam pipes, etc. for conveying corrosive gases.

  1. Used as oil-free lubricating material

The friction coefficient of PTFE tube is very low, so it is an ideal material for oil-free lubrication of mechanical equipment parts. For example, adding lubricating oil in papermaking, food, textile and other fields can easily contaminate the products, and PTFE solves this setback.

  1. Used as a dielectric material for electronic equipment

The inherent low loss and dielectric constant of PTFE make it an ideal insulating material for wires and cables. Its porous structure can reduce loss and distortion to a very low level, and it has thermal stability and certain flexibility. Tetrafluoroethylene is still a good filling medium material. It is widely used in many challenging fields such as telecommunications, computer, defense, aviation and so on.

  1. Used as anti-sticking material

With its inherently small surface tension, the PTFE tube does not adhere to any substance, and also has the excellent characteristics of high and low temperature resistance and non-toxicity. Tetrafluoroethylene is mainly used in non-stick pans and the inner liner of microwave ovens

  1. Used as medical materials

PTFE tube has excellent mechanical properties, durability, stability and biological adaptability, will not cause body reactions, and has no side effects on human physiology. Moreover, the characteristics of microporous structure are more and more widely used in medicine, including artificial blood vessels and patches for soft tissue regeneration, and surgical sutures for blood vessels, heart, general surgery and plastic surgery.
